Description
It's been said several times that in order to successfully stylize something, you need to know how to build it realistically - so that's what I'm doing.
This is so totally NOT me turning a sudden fit of artistic whimsy into trying to remember how to construct and shade a face, and convince myself that I can still work with some level of realism. Totally not.
Anyway - here's Naomi. Not ENTIRELY realistic, and I could probably keep touching up the shading and highlights - but I think it's pretty good compared to how I usually do things.
EDIT I've been retouching the face little by little when I could spare a second - and I think I like this version a little better.

Photoshop CS3, Too goddamn many hours to count.
Naomi... I dunno - it still doesn't really feel right saying that it's my character, when I owe so much to *Yume-Ikari for allowing me to tinker with her toys.
Issues to address:
Shirt (head-hole is too small)
Lips need color.
Try emphasizing cheekbones more.

A difficult style to pull off, well done. I have no input to offer as I am artistically impaired.
But I do approve of this. As you were, soldier. Carry on.
