See, Sis? Told you I had something in the works to tide you over.
Still working on a few things.

EDIT (01/13/2010): I THINK this might have started as an Abbey Road reference. With Zambies.
But yes. You may recognize these three - I do believe I have finally managed to successfully identify what makes these characters who they are, whether they be ninjas, superheroes, or highschoolers in the middle of a Zombie outbreak!
I did it, Chris!
Mostly done because I needed to warm up - the long break left the gears a little sticky.
References used for the buildings and cars.
ISSUES TO ADDRESS:
-Match Characters/Foreground to Background.
-Fix Naomi's pose - too stiff, too similar to others'; no real character to it.
-Cleanup/Tweak color.

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactWell, I have to say, when I saw this picture, the first thing I thought was "blood". Looking at this, you can see the horror and wreckage these three teens have had to face. The overturned vehicles, the blood splattered around, and not too mention the writings of victims littered around send the message very well of this apocalyptic setting. The teens each tell their own story, however. The first's face looks hardened, almost as if he used to smile before this time- but has no reason to smile anymore. The second's face looks more indifferent, however, as if she doesn't have an opinion one way or the other. The third- she appears to be the kind of person who looks on the bright side of everything. Right now, it looks like she's just happy to be with her two best friends. Although the zombie apocalypse is by no means a unique idea, I think this is done well enough that the originality of the characters drawn shines through. However, their poses do look somewhat stiff and the coloring is somewhat messy - but I personally enjoy a more messy coloring every once in a while. Overall, this is a great picture, and I'd love to see more from this artist.
